Last night Josh and I had our potluck-wedding reception/benefit. Josh's Mom Teresa and Step dad Ian arranged it in the hall at Murray River. Josh and I made a bristol board with information about Cambodia and the awful truths about child prostitution, so that family and friends could see where we are going and why.
We had a good turn out including high school friends who Josh hasn't seen for years. Josh's cousin Jillian brought a chocolate fountain and three 1pb chocolate bars later, it became a wonderful toy for the children (and adults!)
Josh and I are hoping to be in Cambodia in October. Next Saturday we are going to have a car wash fundraiser in the Burger King parking lot in Charlottetown.
