Picture this: year 2000, January 1st/New Yrs Day, Netherlands, Amsterdam, The Bulldog, me sitting on a bar stool ravin to the Austrian bartender Astrid.
And, yes, she was playin this song. That was a big moment for me, experiencing the day after one of the largest nights I have ever been a part of. Amsterdam was literally back-to-back with people. It was intense. The intensity of the night gave way to a very calm, quiet morning.
