Thankfulness 29/10/2010
Thankfulness from joshua duffy on Vimeo. For the last 3 weeks on Thursday from 2-2:30pm, I have been the acting Protestant minister at the Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown. It has been fun leading the small group of residents in prayer, hymn singing, and exploring the Christian life. Here is my small talk that I did yesterday afternoon entitled Thankfulness. Add Comment a voice for the poor 21/06/2010
![]() Yesterday I had the honor of sharing about the poor and foreign missions at Community Worship Centre in Stratford, Prince Edward Island. It was an awesome time ( in my opinion) and I tried to present an overview balanced with cool stories and hard sayings. We tend to forget about foreign missions when missionaries don't come and speak. The poor are convenient to forget about because they make us feel incredibly uncomfortable. As Christians though, we have a great responsibility to the poor and ones without a witness of Jesus in the world. I hope I made the small crowd a little more accountable to themselves (and their possessions) during my time with them. You can view video of the message -->HERE<-- Our Heart of Sin 03/11/2009
I preached this message on Halloween night at the Saturday evening Youth Program at New Life in Christ Church in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Translating is Pastor Keat Kove. The Joy of His Presence 08/12/2008
Here is my preach from last sunday, Dec 7. The scriptures I used were: From Eden, to Calvary, to Phnom Penh! 17/11/2008
Pastor Keat graciously let me deliver a message to his congregation yesterday. He sprung this opportunity to me on friday eve, so I had not much time to prepare. He is a great man, who is humble enough to surrender his pulpit to others. I am grateful to be part of his vision and ministry. |
