In high school, I spent a lot of time being................. unproductive. But, I always had friends who I could be unproductive with! Two friends I hung out with a lot were David McGuigan (who lived at my house much of our high school days) and Travis Clarey (my cousin). We spent much time hangin out, promoting peace, and listening to music. While I tended to be more interested in heavier genres, Travis and Dave were much more diverse in their musical interests. Janis Joplin was a major influence on them, and even though I was not a big fan, I listened to her more than many other other artists. It stands today that whenever I hear Janis I remember the good times I had with two of my besties. This one's for you guys: Travis and Dave!
