Ottawa

Parliament House, Ottawa
17 hrs was how long it took us to reach Ottawa by bus from Charlottetown. The first couple hrs to Moncton was great; the bus was spacious and comfortable. Not so from Moncton to Ottawa :s
We made'er though, and spent an enjoyable couple days with Josh Heymans, a Bible College buddy of our's. It was a pretty chill time. Twas good to be off the Island and in the traveling mode again.
Toronto

C.N. Tower (Toronto)
On the 27th, we said our goodbye's to Heymans and jumped on the bus for a 6hr ride to Toronto where we visited the awesome (Flyer's) household of the Cuthill's. They are an inspiring couple who never cease to amaze us with their seemingly tireless service. The Kingdom always seems so much more practical after a trip to Throncliffe.
Windsor

Jenny, Josh, Brian, Jessica, Colin, John
On the 29th, we jumped on a Greyhound (again) and traveled 6hrs to Windsor to visit Jenny's family. Colin & Jessica were also visiting from London (Ontario, not England), and Jenny's brother also flew in from Newfoundland.
Our time has been filled with visiting family, eating out, and drinking Starbucks. The weather has been great, and our 4 city journey to Lake Luzerne is bearing it's end.
St Catharines

Myself n Robert at Scott Manor
The last leg of our journey was to the city where Jenny & I first met, good ole St Kits. We stayed with the amazing Karanfilis'. We got to eat at our signature date place 'Cafe Amore', and we visited with Marilyn Woodward (George was unfortunately out of town), and we were able to visit our special friend of the Scott St manor.
The Manorites seem to be doing well; healthy, if nothing else. But I was really surprised at how well they appeared. It was truly a joy to sit with them again, and share about the good things that have happened in the past year and a half. We just cannot wait till our next visit to those awesome people.
Heymans & I had a great day yesterday. I slept in while Heymans worked. Then he picked me up at 1pm and we cruised'er to St Catharines where we stopped in at the Scott St Manor. This was the nursing/group home where we did church all throughout Bible College. Things had changed, but not as much as they had stayed the same. Kay had passed on, and Susan had fallen a month or so ago and broken her hip. There were some new faces, and we got aquainted. It was a time of reminiscing and the sort. We love the Manor.
Then we visited the Karanfilis'. This couple is among my very favorites in the world. I lived with them during Bible College. Their son is 1.5 yrs old, and getting bigger by the minute! (On a side note, I also ran into Johanna, my other roomate at the time, while we were out at Joe Feta's!)
After that, we met up Pastor George and Marilyn Woodward and went to eat at Joe Feta's. It is always an insightful event to sit and pick their brains, and this time was no different. Russia's door seems to have creaked open a hair, and I'll give a push and see what happens.
Over all, it was one of the best daily visitation days of my life.
In a few moments, Heymans will pick me up and take me across the US border to the train station in Niagara Falls, NY. From there I will be off to Albany, where Jenny and HH await.
