My first full-year of university is over and the summer job search has begun! I am really wanting to find full-time day-shifts so that I can do meetings with COC, FWC, CCC, etc. I am mainly applying for day camps, and summer camps, which would enable me to spend lots of time outdoors as well, which would be pretty sweet.

I want to go to England this September to take this course at St Catharines College, Cambridge. It is a two week course which covers animal welfare in science, ethics, and law. I would miss a couple weeks of the Fall semester, but I may be able to get credit for it, seeing as it is a pretty serious academic setting. The cost of the course would run me approx $3000, plus approx $1100 for a place to stay, plus a return flight. So, it's not cheap! But it is supposed to be a pretty serious course, and I would love to have it under my belt; so, we'll see what happens. Quality is expensive. Any donors out there looking for projects to give to............... I'm just sayin.
Bob Schrecengost is back at Community Worship Centre (2 Holis Ave, Stratford, Charlottetown) for some meetings this weekend. If you are able to go, I would recommend doing so. Bob is a great speaker, with a heart passionately longing for the presence of God. Times of refreshing abound. He spoke over Jenny & I at a house meeting Thusday eve, here it is below. Excuse the lowness of the volume, you'll havta crank it up; my LG Optimus One doesn't have the best audio recorder.

I have been in half a dozen or so meetings with whom they call 'Prophet Bob'. He is a man who walks closely and humbly with God. With all the prophetic trash in the current charismatic movement, I think Bob Schrecengost handles himself with integrity, and honesty to such a degree that I am proud to call him a brother in Christ. We need more men like Bob to step up and take their place. The prophetic movement is (or has) become an awful area of ridicule and embarrassment. True prophets are few and far between in the Church today.
Bob has a habit of calling me out in rooms full of people and speaking things that are on my heart in a powerful way. I have never been in the presence of such penetrating prophecy before. He speaks words that have been on my heart. Things I believe God has already led me to begin preparing for.
This clip is just a small sample of what Bob has spoken over Jenny & I. There have been numerous other instances where we left a meeting of his overwhelmed by the love of God for us. I bless people like this man, whose whole life is dedicated to having a closer relationship to God. Prophets inspire me to lay down even my very life for a cause far greater than that which I could ever dream up myself.
